First Tee – Lake Erie participant Sydney Socha will have the opportunity to participate in the First Tee Drive Your Future Academy presented by John Deere this fall!
Sydney will join 23 additional participants from across the First Tee network at the First Tee Drive Your Future Academy presented by John Deere, held in San Francisco, CA from October 5-9.
Sydney is currently a sophomore at St. Ursula Academy and has been a participant at First Tee – Lake Erie since 2020.

First Tee Drive Your Future Academy presented by John Deere
First Tee Drive Your Future Academy presented by John Deere is a female empowerment event recognizing young women who are motivated to influence positive impact at their chapters, schools and communities. The five-day academy experience focuses on cultivating meaningful relationships, embracing self-awareness, and advocating for yourself and others. The selected teens will have an opportunity to participate in activity-based workshops with female industry leaders in technology, STEM, and business development. Additionally, teens will have an opportunity to develop their relationship with mentors on the golf course in a relaxed setting.
