First Tee – Lake Erie reserves the right to approve or deny any rental application based on compliance with these rules, policies, and regulations.

Rentals are available to individuals, groups, and organizations on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability and the organization’s discretion.

The Dattilo Family Youth Leadership Center is located in Toledo, OH and all activities must comply with local, state, and federal laws.

The facility may be used only for the purposes stated in the rental agreement.

The maximum capacity of the rental is 75 persons. Exceeding this limit is prohibited.

Smoking, vaping, the use of illegal substances, guns and weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited on the premises.

Renters are responsible for the behavior of their guests and ensuring compliance with these policies. Renter must be on site for the entire duration of the rental.

All reservations must be paid in full with a signed rental agreement before the date of reservation will be reserved.

First Tee – Lake Erie reserved the right to make changes, at any time, to these rules and regulations as deemed necessary.

Renter will be allowed an hour before the start time of the event for set up. An additional hour for set up can be purchased for $50. 

There will be a 30 minute grace period after the event ends for cleanup. There will be a $50 fee for any events that run longer than the grace period.

All rental areas should be left in the condition they were found. A picture will be provided for the games room, kitchen and cafeteria area organization.

Time of rental can be adjusted 14 days in advance for no fee. Any time adjustments 14 days or less of the rental will be assessed a $50 fee.

Cancellations 30 or more days prior to the rental day will be given a full refund. Half of the rental fee will be refunded for rentals cancelled 14 – 30 days prior to the scheduled rental date. Any cancellations under 14 days prior to the scheduled rental date will not receive a refund.

All decorations must be removed at the conclusion of the rental. No decorations should be left behind after rental.

Any decorations hanging on the walls should be secured with wall putty and removed with decorations. Tape, pins, tacks and fasteners are not permitted at any time.

Confetti, glitter and fog machines are not allowed at any time.

All rentals must be secured by the renter and approved by a First Tee – Lake Erie representative. First Tee – Lake Erie is in no way to be included in agreements for equipment and does not accept responsibility for such.

Renter bears full responsibility for the liability associated with any equipment and services performed on site. There will be no overnight equipment storage unless given prior approval.

Alcohol is permitted for rentals but must be consumed in the following manner

• The consumption of alcohol must be confined to rental area
• Alcohol must be limited to beer and wine. Spirits and liquor can be consumed with prior written consent of the Executive Director of First Tee – Lake Erie.
• Single serving glass bottles are prohibited 
• Re-sale of alcohol is not permitted
• Open container laws are strictly enforced
• The person signing the rental agreement must be 21 years of age or older and are responsible for ensuring the safe and legal consumption of alcohol served at the event.

Consumption of food is limited to the rental location.

The renter or the caterer will be responsible for cleanup of the kitchen area. No food should be left behind after rental. Food should be taken with renter or thrown in a dumpster located in the parking lot.

Portable ovens are prohibited on site.

Designated parking is available on premises. There should be no parking or driving on grass, walks, trails or service roads.

Any car left overnight has 24 hours from the rental starting time before being towed.

There should be no fee for any event or activity without prior written consent of the Executive Director of First Tee – Lake Erie

Charging for food, beverages and products is strictly prohibited without prior written approval from the Executive Director of First Tee – Lake Erie.

This rental agreement may not be sold, assigned or transferred by the renter to any other person or organization.

The renter assumes complete responsibility and liability for any and all claims, losses, damages, expenses, penalties and judgements relating to or arising from the rental.

The renter further agrees to save and hold harmless First Tee – Lake Erie and against all claims, losses and liability arising out of damage to property; injury to or death of persons occasioned by or in connection with the acts of omissions of the renter of of the renter’s agent; or the use of any mortar vehicle or other equipment or property in connection therewith; and from and against all claims, losses, liability for costs, fees and attorney expenses in connection and therewith.

Pets/animals are not permitted in or on the grounds of the Dattilo Youth Leadership Center unless they are certified assistance animals with proper training and documentation.

No skating, skateboards, roller blades, bikes and/or scooters are allowed on the property.
